Kenmare Community Foundation

The Kenmare Area Community Foundation was established in 2009 with gifts from the Kenmare Development Corporation and Kenmare Veteran's Club. The Foundation distributes grants to worthwhile projects and non-profit organizations in Kenmare and the surrounding area that work to improve our community and quality of life. Additional donations to the fund ensure that we can continue to provide for our community in the future.

The Foundation is affiliated with the North Dakota Community Foundation,
which is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation under IRS Code 501(c)(3) and North Dakota Law.

Here's some of what we've been able to accomplish in our short history so far:

• Renovations to the Blacksmith Shop at Lake County Historical Foundation
• Support for the Bowbells Swimming Pool Drive
• Update the Kenmare Movie Theatre
• Support our Wheels & Meals Program
• Encourage and promote the arts through the Dakota Prairie Creative Society
