Four hunters to be inducted into Hall of Fame during GooseFest

Success comes quickly during area moose hunt

David Berg of Epping, 63, drew his North Dakota moose license this year for area M10 in the northwest corner of the state, one of the 70 lucky hunters for that area who started their season on Friday. David’s season ended Friday, too, with a 40-inch bull moose loaded on his trailer, despite all his best intentions.

Enbridge to pay $275,000 to Berthold for infrastructure needs

After two and a half weeks of negotiations, the city of Berthold and Enbridge Pipelines LLC have reached an agreement in their differences over the zoning status of an 80-acre tract of land Enbridge wants to purchase and use in a series of expansion projects planned for the region.

City's well water being trucked to the oilfield

The quality of Kenmare’s city water improved drastically last December when water provided by the city of Minot started flowing through the taps, as distributed through the Northwest Area Water Supply pipeline. However, the old water has found new life in the oil field, and the city has benefited from a few extra dollars in its coffers.
